About Dr. Maglio
Domenick Maglio, Ph.D.has appeared on national television and radio as an expert on the Culture Moral War. He is the author of Invasion Within: Overcoming the Elitists' Attack on the Moral Values and the American Way, Regnery Publishing; and Essential Parenting: Revitalizing and Remoralizing the Family in the 21st Century. Dr. Maglio holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and has 40 years experience working in the psychological/educational trenches. Dr. Maglio has been married to his wonderful wife for over forty years. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren. He has been in private psychotherapy practice for over a quarter of a century and is the founder and director of Wider Horizons School, a private K-12 college preparatory school since 1983. His professional career has ranged from counselor at Wiltwyck School for Disturbed Boys, school psychologist, nine years as professor and department head at the university level in psychological/educational departments, clinical psychologist in a Florida State prison, Certified Reality Therapist, ten years directing a domestic violence counseling program, director of the Open Door for Mental Health Program, staff psychologist at the Eckerd Foundation as well as serving on the Board of Directors of the National Independent Private School Association.
